Life 1.0 refers to life forms where both the hardware (physical body) and software (behavioral algorithms) are evolved via natural selection rather than designed.
Why It Matters

- Genetic Determinism: All behavior is “hard-coded” in the DNA. A bacterium does not “learn” to swim toward sugar; the algorithm is fixed at birth.
