Technological Completion Conjecture

Definition

The hypothesis that, given enough time, any civilization will eventually develop all scientifically possible technologies.

Why It Matters

This conjecture suggests that everything possible will eventually be built. This removes ‘technological impossibility’ as a long-term defense, forcing us to realize that our survival depends on our ability to handle every physical capability, no matter how dangerous.

Core Concepts

  • Deterministic Progress: Technology advances as a fundamental property of intelligent life.\n- Physical Limits: The only boundaries to technology are the laws of physics.\n- The Attractor State: Advanced technology is an inevitable attractor in the phase space of civilization.
