Definition

The Zero-G Innovation Model explores how the removal of gravity—a constant environmental constraint on Earth—necessitates radical re-thinking of basic human and physical functions (breathing, fluid dynamics, motion). It uses the “visceral” reality of space to spark unique creative and scientific solutions.

Why It Matters

Earth-based innovation is “blind” to the influence of gravity. In space, every physical assumption fails. Mastering zero-g innovation is the only way to build a multi-planetary civilization; it forces us to find the “Ground Truth” of physics, leading to breakthroughs that are impossible on Earth.

  • Lack of Convection: In zero-G, warm air doesn’t rise. Breathing out creates a “bubble” of CO2 around the head, which can lead to suffocation if fans (mechanical convection) are not active.
