Definition
The art of effective or persuasive speaking or writing, particularly the use of figures of speech and compositional techniques to inform, persuade, or motivate audiences.
Why It Matters
Logic is the ‘Engine’ of truth, but Rhetoric is the ‘Fuel’ of persuasion. If you have the truth but can’t persuade anyone, your truth is socially irrelevant. Mastering rhetoric is about bridging the gap between ‘Being Right’ and ‘Being Heard’ in a crowded marketplace of ideas.
