Red Teaming is the practice of rigorously challenging an organization’s plans, defenses, or assumptions by adopting an adversarial perspective.
Why It Matters
Optimization for success often creates dangerous “optimism bias.” Red teaming is the only way to find the “silent failure” that would have remained hidden until it was too late. The stake is system robustness: by trying to “kill” your own idea or product, you ensure that it is strong enough to survive the actual world.
