Error Correction is the process by which a system detects deviations from a desired state and takes action to reduce or eliminate those deviations. It is one of the most fundamental mechanisms for learning, adaptation, and progress in both biological and human-designed systems.
Why It Matters
Without robust error correction, every system—biological, technical, or social—naturally drifts toward increasing disorder and entropy.
